Shipping & Returns

We’re not Amazon. That means we can’t get a delivery to you in two hours, and we don’t have a giant warehouse full of stock. We’re a small workshop, and every order is made and packed with care to make sure it reaches you safely. Here’s how we send things from our desk to yours, and what to do if something ever needs to come back.


Delivery

Once you’ve placed your order, it’s carefully packed and sent to its new home. We use Royal Mail for all deliveries, from the UK to worldwide, because they’re the UK’s greenest delivery service.


UK Shipping

Orders will be sent via Royal Mail 48. We aim to dispatch ready-to-ship orders within 1–2 working days. If you need something urgently, let us know and we’ll do our best to move it to the top of the pile.

Postage and packing is a flat £4.50, no matter how many notebooks you order. That covers the box, the tape, the wrapping and the Royal Mail label that gets it safely to your door.


International Shipping

For Batch 001, we've made the difficult decision to only ship within the UK. This is due to new rules imposed by Brexit, the US and the EU. We hope to open up international shipping from Batch 002 onwards. If you’re outside the UK and want to know when that happens, you can join our mailing list.

And if you're abroad but really keen to get your hands on a PREST exercise book, get in touch and we’ll see if we can figure something out.


Refunds

If you change your mind within 28 days of receiving your order, you can return it for a refund if it’s unused and in its original packaging. Returns must be sent fully tracked, with tracking details emailed to us along with your name, order number and reason for refund. Unless the item is faulty or damaged, you’ll need to cover the cost of return postage.

If your return arrives outside the 28-day window, we’ll do our best to offer a credit note, but please contact us before sending.


Exchanges

Because we make in small batches, exchanges aren’t always possible. The earlier you ask, the better your chances. Email us with your order details and what you’d like to swap. If we can make the change, we’ll do so. If not, we’ll issue a refund (excluding any shipping). We’ll need to charge you postage for any replacements.


The Small Print

Once your return arrives, we’ll check it over and process your refund within 1–5 days. If the item shows signs of use or arrives in an unsellable condition, we’ll get in touch. In those cases, the item would be returned to you and no refund issued. That hasn’t happened yet, but it’s important to say.
