At PREST, we believe in making things well and keeping things simple. We know privacy policies aren’t the most exciting things in the world, but we take your data seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you browse our site, place an order or get in touch with us.

  1. WHO WE ARE: Welcome to the www.prest.works website (the “Site”) operated by PREST Works, trading as PREST (“PREST”, “we”, “us” or “our”). For the purposes of data protection law, PREST (Callum Dawes, trading as PREST Works) is the data controller of your personal data.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT: We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, such as: name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, payment details (processed securely by our payment provider) and anything you share in messages or forms. We also collect information automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION: We only use your personal data to: process and fulfil your orders, communicate with you about your orders and our products, improve our website and services, prevent fraud or misuse, send marketing emails if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime), meet legal, accounting or tax obligations.

Just so you know, we don’t run those sites and we can’t be responsible for how they handle your data. If you do follow a link, we’d recommend checking their privacy policy before sharing any information.
  7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY: Our products and services are not designed for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If we learn that we’ve accidentally received information from a child under 13, we’ll delete it straight away. If you’re a parent or guardian and think your child may have shared personal details with us, please get in touch so we can put things right.
  8. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA: We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. This means order and payment records are kept for as long as required under tax and accounting law (usually up to 6 years), marketing data is kept until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe and other data is deleted or anonymised once it’s no longer needed.

YOUR RIGHTS: Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, ask us to delete your data, restrict or object to certain uses of your data and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
  10. SECURITY: We take reasonable steps to protect your data through secure systems and trusted providers. No online service is 100% risk-free, but we do our best to keep your information safe.
